X (Twitter) reply service cost in 2026: DIY to agency
The main ways to get replies posted on X, from doing it yourself to an agency, in one table, from the cheapest.
Getting replies posted on X (Twitter) costs anything from an hour of your own day to $6,000 a month for an agency. We run X accounts for founders every day, so here is each option’s price from its own page, checked on 30 October 2026, and what we think of it. GhostReply, which publishes this blog, is one of the rows.
How much does an X reply service cost in 2026?
Doing it yourself first, then every option from the cheapest:
| Option | Type | Price a month |
|---|---|---|
| Do it yourself | Your own time | $0 |
| Fireply | Posting service | $69–129 |
| ReplyGuy.org | Posting service | $89–499 |
| GhostReply Presence (ours) | Agency | $99 |
| Fiverr “reply guy” gig | Freelance gig | About $150 |
| GhostReply Run (ours) | Agency | From $899 |
| VA MASTERS or Magic | Assistant | From $600 |
| Pete Codes | Ghostwriter | $3,300 |
| FORKOFF | Agency | From $6,000 |
| R3PLY | Posting service | Set on a call |
Draft tools aren’t in the table. A draft still needs your edit and your click on Reply, so it is doing it yourself, a little faster.
A cheap option that gets your account limited or locked costs you more than any plan in this table. The account is yours whoever posts, and X’s rules make you “ultimately responsible” for the apps you let into it.
What does doing it yourself cost?
No money, and 1–2 hours a day for 10–20 good replies, by the estimates of ReplyGenius and Fireply, who both sell tools to shorten it. That is 30–50 hours a month, worth $924–1,540 at the US median wage.
On quality it is the best option here: the replies sound like you because they are you. It is also the first thing a busy founder drops.
The routine behind those hours is in the reply guy strategy, and how many replies a day make sense covers volume.
What do services that post replies for you cost?
The posting services in this guide cost $69 to $499 a month. Fireply gives 40 free replies first and asks for X Premium on your account. ReplyGuy.org sells 30 or 60 minutes of work a day, with a refund if a month brings fewer than 300 niche followers, and R3PLY sets its price on a 30-minute call.
Our two rows are highlighted. GhostReply’s reply guy service begins at Presence, $99 a month: replies up to 36 a day plus likes and follows, from your own account through X’s Delegate feature. You pay for a manager on WhatsApp or Telegram who knows your account, and for a pace we lower ourselves the moment X labels it. Before any of that, you get a free 30-minute call and sample replies in your voice.
Replies from your own account, $99 a month, through X’s Delegate feature, with no password.
Book a callWhat do Fiverr gigs and VAs charge for X replies?
A Fiverr search for “reply guy” returns 42 gigs, starting at $10 to $100 with a median of $20. Several of them sell memecoin promotion.

The starting price buys one order, not a month. On the gig below, $10 covers 10 replies a day for 2 days, so a month costs about $150.

Fiverr reply gigs are low quality, and we wouldn’t put one on an account we care about. The seller has never read your timeline, so the replies come out generic, and the cheap end of the list sells memecoin hype. If you try one anyway, ask for sample replies first and give access through X’s Delegate feature, never your password: X lists shared logins among the ways accounts get compromised, and it locks accounts it thinks are.
A VA costs $7.50–15 an hour: VA MASTERS starts at $600 a month for 80 hours, and Magic at $360 a week for 40. The replies are low quality too: someone new to your market writes safe lines nobody answers, they go out under your name, and the hours you saved go into checking them.
How much do Twitter (X) ghostwriters and agencies cost?
Surveys put X ghostwriters at $300 to $5,000 or more a month and agencies at $1,000 to $25,000 or more. Replies are an afterthought there: Pete Codes charges $3,300 a month for 16 posts and 40 replies, a little over one reply a day, and FORKOFF starts at $6,000 with a 90-day minimum.
Our Run plan, from $899 a month, adds a content plan and up to 14 posts a week to the daily replies. If replies are what you need, an agency retainer is the most expensive way to buy them. What a whole account costs to hand over is in our guide to X account management.
Which costs don’t show in the price?
Your time
1–2 hours a day
That is what writing the replies yourself takes. A VA saves the hours but needs a brief and spot checks.
Access
Your password
Ampfluence asks for it. Most services here use X’s Delegate feature, which gives access without it: how it works.
Risk
A limited account
Activity that looks automated, like bursts of replies or the same line repeated, can get an account limited or locked by X.
Minimum term
$18,000
FORKOFF’s $6,000 retainer runs 90 days at least before you can stop.
Which option fits your budget?
With time and little money, write the replies yourself. With money and no hour a day to spare, pay a service that posts them, and skip the gig and the VA. If you want posts and strategy too, that is agency work, and replies come inside it.
For the differences beyond price, see our comparison of X reply services.
Frequently asked questions
How much does a reply guy cost per month?
From $0 if you write the replies yourself to $1,000 and up for an agency. The posting services in our comparison cost $69–499 a month, and a VA $7.50–15 an hour (checked 30 October 2026).
Is a $10 Fiverr reply guy gig a monthly price?
No, it buys one order. The $10 gig we checked covers 10 replies a day for 2 days, so a month at that pace is about $150.
How much does a Twitter (X) ghostwriter cost?
Usually $300 to $5,000 a month. One ghostwriter charges $3,300 a month for 16 posts and 40 replies.
Is a VA cheaper than a reply service?
Usually not. A VA costs $7.50–15 an hour, from $600 a month, writes generic replies and needs checking; the posting services in our comparison cost $69–499 a month.
Is the cheapest reply guy the best choice?
No. Fiverr gigs and VAs are low quality: generic replies go out under your name, and activity that looks automated can get the account limited or locked by X.
Do I have to give a reply service my password?
No. Most use X’s Delegate feature, which gives access without the password and can be removed in your X settings at any time.
Daily replies from your own account, $99 a month
Replies go out every day from your own X account, in your voice, under posts your buyers already read.
After a free 30-minute call you get sample replies in your voice. If they don’t read like you, you walk away and owe nothing.
Presence covers up to 36 replies a day plus likes and follows; Run, from $899 a month, adds up to 14 posts a week.
Access is X’s Delegate feature with the Contributor role, so no password changes hands, and you can remove us on the same settings screen at any moment.
